With dramatic changes in the orientation of the U.S. economy, we seek to better understand the changing nature of the labor market and the implications for young adults. We are interested in topics such as the effect of economic recessions on young adults, the rise of the gig economy, and the evolving employee-employer relationship. We are also interested in how these macro-level changes in the economy affect the lived experience of young adults.
We envision a new paradigm in public policy that advances an equitable, sustainable, and prosperous society for current and future generations.
